Andy Powell is a Studio Director in Gensler’s New York office and a Northeast Entertainment Practice Leader, shaping the future of luxury hospitality, lifestyle, and entertainment design. He partners with global brands to envision experience-rich destinations—from boutique and lifestyle hotels to next-generation resorts, cruise environments, and high-impact social venues for hospitality clients including Hyatt, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Delta Air Lines, and media giants like The Walt Disney Company.

With more than three decades of architectural expertise, Andy brings a distinctive ability to connect brand strategy with placemaking. His leadership helps clients define the vision, guest experience, and design narrative that set their destinations apart, from sprawling properties, like One&Only’s newest resort property in Hyde Park— a unique collaboration with the Culinary Institute of America— to more intimate venues like The Ra Ra Room, a luxury dining club nestled in the Phoenix arena operated by Major Food Group.
