As a global executive search firm, Korn Ferry understands the ever-evolving relationship between people and work. Part of that understanding involves using its own workplaces to learn, test, and embrace the latest ways executives engage with the space around them. To embrace an increasing desire for more open spaces over siloed offices, Gensler revamped Korn Ferry’s Paris space to create a dynamic, sustainable workplace that inspires collaboration and operates with sustainability and resilience as priorities.
Gensler reimagined Korn Ferry’s 1,400 m² Paris office into a workspace that harmonises nature, adaptability, and brand identity. The design incorporates unassigned seating for the first time for the firm, supported by diverse enclosed rooms for focused and confidential work. Paired with a “creative frugality” mindset, sustainability was central to the project, with 55% of partitions retained, 77% of ceilings preserved, and 88% of furniture reused. A natural colour palette, vibrant greenery, and strategically curated spaces, such as a welcoming central reception and lively kitchen area, foster collaboration and wellbeing.
Korn Ferry’s new Paris office embodies the company’s evolution from a traditional firm to a collaborative consulting powerhouse. By integrating sustainability with functionality, the space enhances employee engagement and wellbeing while advancing the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility. Featuring adaptable layouts, vibrant design, and strategic reuse, the office sets a benchmark for sustainable innovation, fostering a forward-thinking, community-driven work environment in one of the world’s most iconic business hubs.
